Screen Replacement
This is the house I purchased to remodel/repair. Shows all the improvements I made as well as pictures to show what it used to look like.
I was asked to finish a basement for another client. This involved building the frames, putting up drywall on the walls and ceiling, installing 3 doors, building a closet from scratch, plaster and sanding. In truth, this is contractor work and I did suggest they get quotes from professionals. However they came back to me and asked if I could help them... so I did!
Since the client considers painting very easy to do, especially when you don't have to worry about detailing, he asked that I step aside for the final painting so he and his family could finish. Since I'm here to help, I was happy to consider my part of the project fully completed.
Installation of a porcelain tile floor in a client's kitchen.
I mostly provided advice and showed the client how to do it and helped to solve some strange problems that came up. (The floor had sunken in under the weight of the fridge!)
This worked very well. He saved a lot of money by doing it himself and I got a consultation fee. I am more than happy to provide you with advice and then step aside!
